Lynn Tran visited the Venture Development class at Fort Richmond Collegiate (FRC) on April 7 to prepare them to open their first Mother’s Day pop-up shop.
The Venture Development class is for students interested in developing their own businesses once they graduate.
Lynn talked with the students about how a small business like GoodLocal, operates.
“I am loving the students’ shop local attitude, and mindset. What an amazing class filled with incredible ideas, motivation and passion. I was really impressed.” said Tran.
The students were thrilled to learn about the different areas of a small business and appreciated learning about the ups and downs of creating a company to help them with their MADE IN MANITOBA MOTHER’S DAY POP-UP STORE happening in early May.
Be sure to keep an eye out for these future entrepreneurs!
